He sees her dancing, moving seductively around the dance floor, almost like a siren beckoning its prey closer. But he can see past her façade, her sorrow almost overshadowing his own. He moves quickly to catch her when she stumbles over her own feet. Her smell is intoxicating, and he can feel his fangs itching to appear. She looks up at him and he cannot help but smirk at her. They lock eyes, and it feels as if she is looking deep into his new soul. He tells her his name and is pleased when she smiles and says, "Brooke".
